Research Collaborations
LVO Stroke
151 Stroke patients measured at comprehensive stroke centers: 68 LVO, 36 Ischemic non-LVO, 15 Hemorrhagic, 39 mimics.
Severe Depression
BDI scores went from severe depression to remission in a week with 10 minutes per day therapy. Over 1/3 of patients reached remission in a 20 person clinical trial.
Glioblastoma
Tumor shrinkage on 38 mice with glioblastoma. One 2-minute treatment on day 0. Delivered by modified Openwater non-invasive device.
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Applications
Large vessel occlusion detection
Detect LVO stroke with Openwater’s portable, non-invasive low intensity infrared devices
Severe depression therapy
Treat depression and mental health without pharmaceuticals, using Openwater’s wearable, non-invasive low intensity focused ultrasound (LIFU) devices
Veterinary medicine
Diagnose musculoskeletal injuries and other conditions in horses and household pets
